Cowboy boots, baseball caps, and fur hats at the Actor Awards 2026

Actor Awards (formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards) is an annual awards gala where actors vote and celebrate achievements in film and television, held this year at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 1.

Unlike many other award shows, the winners are determined by industry peers, making the awards a sort of internal quality stamp, or a stylish way for actors to applaud each other in elegant attire.

Best Male Lead: Michael B. Jordan (Sinners)
Best Female Lead: Jessie Buckley (Hamnet)
Best Male Supporting Role: Sean Penn (One Battle after Another)
Best Female Supporting Role: Amy Madigan (Weapons)

TV Series

Drama Ensemble: The Pitt
Comedy Ensemble: The Studio (dominated the TV side)
Best Male Drama: Noah Wyle (The Pitt)
Best Female Drama: Keri Russell (The Diplomat)
Comedy (Acting): Seth Rogen & Catherine O’Hara (The Studio)

Lifetime Achievement Award: Harrison Ford

This year's theme was: “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20s and 30s.” Despite the indirect dress code, other style markers such as cowboy boots, caps, and suits with fur hats were also seen.
